Letters! Finally!
I don't know if I should be laughing at that as much as I am.
DH is making Myst references. All is well in the world. :)
The anxiety, I think, is over. From here on out, I expect mostly impatience as he continually reminds me how much he misses me. :)
Writer girl met artist boy. Two years after they wed she gave him permission to pursue his dream of becoming a Marine. Do we ever really know what we're getting ourselves into? I'm an artistic twenty-something edging slowly into military life.
When it became certain that my husband was joining the United States Marine Corps, I started looking around for information about what it was like for other wives, especially during boot camp and the first year of adjustments.
I had a difficult time finding information or stories about people dealing with those early changes and experiences. As I was already prone to journaling regularly about my life, I decided to try my hand at filling that void.

I finally got the real copies in the mail today and it was so nice to hold them in my hands, read them again, and laugh allll over again. :P
